Yahoo Jobs

Some years ago, Yahoo! was the place to go to find a job. It was one of the leaders in the job search industry and a world leader in online media. From its headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, creators offer Search, Media Products, Mobile, Integrated Consumer Experiences, and Applications in more than 30 languages. After a varied and checkered history, however, their previously known job search site no longer exists.

Question #1

Are you a man or a woman?

Today if you type into a search engine 'Yahoo! jobs website' you'll be taken to the Yahoo! directory of job listings and sponsor sites. You can search for opportunities by position and location, then create a profile, download your resume, and apply for jobs worldwide online. You can also describe the jobs that would suit you. Or submit a resume, and they will match you with an open position.

In many ways the Yahoo! job directory is a great place to look because the more places you post your resume the better your chances of finding the job you really want. And on the Yahoo! directory website there are many job boards to choose from. While you're there, why not take a look at all of them? And be sure to update your resume periodically at all the sites and post on any new ones you come across. Some experts suggest renewing every six months. You'll want to keep showing up as a 'new' resume
on as many big job boards as you can, the Yahoo! directory among them.

It's a good idea to include the job title in your resume post, as well, so your name and desired profession will appear in the searches that various companies look at in order to fill particular openings.

All in all, whether you are looking for hot jobs on the Yahoo! directory or elsewhere, putting your name and resume out there in as many places as possible is the way to reach your goal—attaining the job you want and are qualified to fill.
